We first started working with cover crops in 2006 and our goal was simple. It was to see if cover crops would work on our farm. The first field that we applied cover crops to was a 60 acre field that was going to soybeans. We quickly saw the benefits of cover crops through improved soil health, water infiltration thus resulting in higher yields.
